[one_two_first]Matt’s running career started out as running sprints to improve his speed for soccer during his high school freshmen year.  By the time he was a sophomore he realized his heart was no longer invested in soccer and decided to focus 100% to running and Cross Country.  This led him to run for University of Richmond in Virginia.[/one_two_first]

[one_two_last]After a successful collegiate career with qualifying four times for the NCAA Championships and earning Division 1 First-Team All-American status, Matt is now focusing on running professionally.  He trains in beautiful Flagstaff, AZ and his goals are podium finishes at USATF Championships and representing USA on international teams.[/one_two_last]
